I’m alex bell and I’m a senior anthropology major with a minor in Spanish. I’m a student director in the Office of Diversity Education, the president of the Coalition for Diversity & Social Justice (CDSJ), and president of Alpha Tau Chapter of KDChi. I’m excited to be a part of this project because I want to engage the SU students, staff, and faculty in inclusive political conversations and help ensure that our community understands the importance of engaging with folks of all different backgrounds and perspectives.

I’m excited to be a part of this project because I have a history in activism and civic engagement and I want to bring that to the Southwestern campus! Being able to have open, honest, and respectful dialogue is integral to strengthening our SU community.

I am a senior double majoring in music and political Science! I am the co-president of the Hispanic and Latinx Organization and a Newman Civic Fellow. I want to continue sharing stories, experiences, and learning from fellow students, faculty, and staff. This way, we can collectively work to be active citizens, advocates, and increase community and civic engagement on campus and in our communities. I am so excited to be a part of this team and to engage in meaningful conversations with the Southwestern community.
