BETTER TOGETHER

Better Together is an interfaith group on campus that seeks to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for students from diverse religious and non-religious traditions. In connection with the national Interfaith Youth Core, Better Together connects students across campuses nation-wide to foster interfaith cooperation and social justice work. We hope to promote pluralism and intersectionality through educational events, coordination with other Southwestern campus organizations, meet-ups and service projects.

SIGMA PHI LAMBDA (PHI LAMB)

Phi Lamb is a non-Panhellenic Christian Sorority. We are a group of women that take great joy in serving the Lord and growing in fellowship with each other. We meet multiple times a week to worship, play games, give devotionals, pray, as well as many other activities. Phi Lamb is a welcoming organization where girls can express their spirituality and feel comfortable to be themselves. This organization is understanding of busy schedules and tries to work with girls to maintain their membership as best as possible.

YOUNGLIFE COLLEGE

YoungLife College is a program of YoungLife especially for college students. Leaders host small groups and clubs for all ages of college students, campus-wide events, and offer opportunities for students to become YoungLife leaders themselves. YoungLife College leaders on the SU campus work to love and see people for who they are, because someone first loved and saw them, and aim to create genuine and lasting relationships with the people in their community.

DON’T SEE WHAT YOU’RE LOOKING FOR?

Our Chaplain is always ready to guide students of all faiths in establishing an organization for pursuit of their own spirituality. We need to know from students when there is a group ready to get going!  If you are a student interested in organizing new groups or have additional ideas, contact the Office of Spiritual and Religious Life.
