FAQs
What is Giving Day?
Southwestern Giving Day is a celebration of everything our students and faculty have accomplished and what they can do with the support of our alumni and friends. We have set the ambitious goal of engaging 1,500 donors in 1,840 minutes. Beyond donor support, Southwestern Giving Day is a wonderful opportunity for the Southwestern story to be shared far and wide, and for our alumni to reconnect with classmates.
Is there a minimum donation?
No! All gifts made between 12:00 p.m. CDT on April 19 and 6:40 p.m. CDT on April 20 will count toward our goal of 1,500 donors.
Do I have to give to the Southwestern Fund?
Your gift can be designated to any area on campus — any academic department, any athletic team, or any other part of Southwestern that means the most to you! We will have a lot of these options listed on our giving page, but please use the “Other” option if you don't see your favorite designation listed.
If I've already made a gift to Southwestern this year, how can I help?
We will need everyone's help to make Southwestern Giving Day a success! If you've already given to Southwestern this fiscal year (since July 1, 2022), we are looking for Giving Day Ambassadors to help share the message about Southwestern Giving Day with their classmates, friends, and family. You can sign up here to receive more information about being a Giving Day Ambassador.
