Majoring in French

The major in French requires a minimum of eight courses (majors consist of a minimum of 30 credits):

•    FRE11-314 Topics in Literature and Film

•    FRE11-334 French Cinema

•    FRE11-354 French Culture

•    FRE11-934 Capstone Seminar

•    Four additional courses in French, at least two of which must be at or above the 500 level

Minoring in French

The minor in French requires a minimum of five courses (minors consist of a minimum of 18 credits):

•    Two courses from:

FRE11-314 Topics in Literature and Film
FRE11-334 French Cinema
FRE11-354 French Culture

•    Three additional courses in French, at least one of which must be at or above the 500 level
