Art classrooms and studios are spread out over two buildings; the Fine Arts Building and the Studio Arts Building.

You will find SU faculty and students interacting in a variety of inspiring studios and intimate classrooms and seminar spaces throughout these two buildings.

The Rufus Franklin Edwards Studio Art Building is a 13,169 square foot dedicated studio art facility divided equally between ceramics and sculpture areas with 1,920 square foot main studios for each, a glaze mixing room, 400 square foot faculty studios/offices, a large covered outdoor kiln work space, a clay mixing room, many storage spaces, and a loading dock. A full-time Studio Technician supports the sculpture and ceramics studio areas and lab courses, in addition to maintaining all equipment, and there is a small dedicated studio to support the technician.
