Amardeep Kahlon Amardeep Kahlon is a full professor of computer studies at Austin Community College, where she began teaching in 1996. She received her PhD in Higher Education Administration from the University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Science and Advanced Technology from Binghamton University in New York. She had earlier earned several degrees from institutions in India: a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in English Literature and Economics from MCMDAV College in Chandigarh; a Bachelor of Mass Communication degree from Punjab University in Chandigarh; and a Post-Graduate Diploma in International Business from University Business School at Punjab.

At the time of this interview, she was set to embark on a one-year position as Dean of Academics at BML Munjal University in New Delhi, India. Dr. Kahlon's research interests include computer science teaching, gender diversity, and higher education administration.
