I came to Southwestern
University in 1998
after attending graduate school at the State
University of New York at
Buffalo. Part of my
desire to work at a small liberal arts college stemmed from
my experience at my undergraduate alma mater,
Ohio
Northern University,
in Ada, OH. Since coming to
Southwestern, I have taught a wide range of courses
including general chemistry, Instrumental Methods of
Analysis, Environmental Chemistry, Quantitative Methods of
Analysis, Molecular Basis of Color and Form, Chemistry
Appreciation, and Chemistry of the Environment. My research
currently focuses on the analysis of phytochemicals and flavonoids.
