Southwestern University was awarded the $6.8 million Olin Building in 1994 by the F.W. Olin Foundation of New York. The new academic facility, dedicated on November 8, 1996, provides students and faculty with a variety of new technology classrooms and laboratories: The Olin Forum, The Lecture Hall, The Psychology Lab, The Electronic Classroom , The Computer Classroom/Lab, The Video Equipped Seminar Classroom, and the new Fish Lab. This page provides a brief introduction to these facilities and the equipment available.

The Olin Building also contains the new Language Learning Center. For information about the Center and the Department of Modern and Classical Languages, you are invited to visit the LLC Web Page.
