Friday Night Live brings top-notch entertainment to campus every Friday evening, with nationally-known bands, comedians, first-run movies, and even game shows in The Cove. Seriously, why drive to Austin when you can walk over to the McCombs Center and have some fun for free?
How are Common, The Decemberists, Wyclef Jean, Cake, and New Found Glory connected? They've all performed at Southwestern's annual Large Act Concert. This campus-wide event is organized and produced by students and features important artists from the very top of their musical genres.
With 90+ organizations on campus, Southwestern students have lots of opportunities to get engaged outside the classroom. From student government to academic honor societies, athletic clubs to Greek Life, service organizations to student media (and many more), you won't struggle to find like minds.
