Why Phonathon?

To raise money for scholarships, increase alumni & parent philanthropic involvement and help keep people in touch with SU. Phonathon is the most cost-effective and personal way for Southwestern to contact alumni, parents, and friends about making an annual gift.

When is Phonathon?

Student Callers typically call from September to April. This new eight month (or year long) Phonathon is built around the fiscal year (July 1-June 30), and the calling schedule is coordinated around this calendar.

What should I say when a student calls me?

This is a great time to get updates on what is happening at Southwestern while making your annual pledge to support scholarships. The student callers are ready to share stories and information!

How successful is Phonathon?

Student callers raise more than $150,000 in pledges from 2500 people annually.
