This year, the cross country DIII South/Southeast Regional race was held in the beautiful state of North Carolina. A land inhabited with luscious vegetation and pacifying Bluegrass makes for a pretty picnic in Greensboro.
This past weekend the Southwestern Swim Team started the conference season off with an impressive bang (corny sports pun intended).
The men’s and women’s cross country teams competed in the SCAC conference championships last Saturday in Conyers, GA. The teams had last competed in Arkansas at the Chili Pepper Cross Country Festival, where they had enjoyed good results.
Last Sunday, after 26 years of club play, the Bucs Lacrosse team took the field as a NCAA Varsity team.
Fortunately, the team was able to re-schedule at the last minute, and traveled to Fayetteville, Arkansas to participate in the University of Arkansas Chili Pepper Cross Country Festival.
