Welcome

This is the official home page of the Southwestern University Catholic Student Association. We are a ministry dedicated to growing in our faith and sharing it with anyone who comes with an open heart. If you would like to know more about us, this website is a good place to start. Sign up for the listserv, join us for mass on Sundays, come to our Wednesday night meetings. Whatever faith you come from we hope you will find a spiritual home here at Southwestern with CSA.

We offer many opportunities for our members to grow in their faith, serve the community, and have fun with good friends. Each week, members carpool to St. Helen's for Sunday mass. Weekly adoration and rosary are also a part of the list of activities. We are active with St. Helen's parish, the only Catholic Church in Georgetown, and we offer numberous opportunities for service to the Georgetown community.

Whether you are a "cradle-Catholic" or you are just being introduced to the Catholic Church, we would love to meet you. Contact any of our officers to find out more about CSA, and we hope to see you at some of our events.

janet: the poll question is funny :)
Shannon: I don't know the answer :(
daniel: hint: the book of Leviticus might be helpful.
Shannon: The descendants of Levi (the Levites) were consecrated as priests to God and they did not receive land as an inheritance in Palestine.
Shannon: The twelve tribes of Israel are named differently in several locations of the Bible. Every list in the Bible contains Simeon, Judah, Gad, Asher, Naphtali, Manasseh, Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin. In addition to those nine tribes, there are Ephraim, Reuben, Joseph, Dan, and Levi. Whatever the case, God is free to re-adjust and re-account the twelve tribes of Israel as He sees fit. :)
Shannon: P.S. I had help finding that info :)
daniel: where did you find it?
daniel: a concordance might be helpful with the latest poll question.
daniel: Everyone should vote YES!!!
janet: hahahaha :) yay!
Ann: Daniel I am looking at your awesome website! Aren't you happy?
Mysterio: I voted more than once..my bad. But I love the update on the webpage! Nicely done!
daniel: record turnout for the poll. Heeheehee. I'll send the link to Fr. Will.
Shannon: Happy Summer Everyone!!
Veronica: CSA Welcome retreat this Saturday 09/11 starting at 12 :D
