Academics are our highest priority, it’s true. But we’re not all about textbooks and research labs. There’s plenty to do outside the classroom! From an annual concert to renowned lecturers to Opera Theatre; Zumba class to Ultimate Frisbee games to Thursday Chapel; Greek life to varsity athletics to community outreach, there’s something for everyone at Southwestern.

    Come out and enjoy this great movie as well as FREE food and drink!  At this Drafthouse event, students 21+ may BYOB up to three 12 oz beers or three 5 oz bottles of wine.

    The House features the dynamic duo of Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler…  When Scott and Kate Johansen’s daughter gets into the college of her dreams it’s cause for celebration. That is, until Scott and Kate (Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler) learn that the scholarship they were counting on didn’t come through, and they’re now on the hook for tuition they can’t begin to afford.

    Use your influence as a Pirate leader; “Steer the Ship” in a safe and positive direction. Join us to learn more about being a proactive community member by intervening effectively when the safety and well-being of those around you is at risk. Snacks and light refreshments will be provided.

    This panel will​ take a deeper look at hazing from a variety of areas in collegiate life. We will be discussing the causes of hazing, the consequences of hazing, and how we can stop hazing.  Panelists include: Williamson County Attorneys Valerie Cavitt and Alice Balagia; Tim Jackson, General Manager of the Round Rock Express & former NCAA Division 1 athlete; & more.
