Martin Ruter Residence Hall

Ruter is a first-year men's hall located in the Western Complex on the west side of campus. Ruter houses 92 residents and 6 student staff members in two-person rooms with community-style bathrooms. The hall has laundry facilities and a lounge equipped with a color TV on the first floor. Ruter is unique in that it encourages hall pride an unity with its community baths and traditional residence hall format. Ruter underwent renovations during the Summer of 2000.

The university provides each resident in Ruter:

• A standard, bunkable twin bed
• A desk
• A desk chair
• A set of bookshelves (shared by the roommates)
• A dresser
• Ample closet and storage space above
