Diamond sisters Amber and Lindsey enjoy a game of Texas Hold’em at Black Diamond Ball. |
Picnic with the Pi's is our first panhellenic-sponsered event of the year. It is a chance for first-year and independent women to get to know us in a relaxed environment with food and games! |
Cookies 'n' Pis is our second. We invite first-year and independent women to help us decorate cookies to take to our philanthropy, the Ronald McDonald House. At this time we explain exactly what we do for RMH and how much it means to us. |
Spring formal is know as Black Diamond Ball, and it is a chance for our chapter to get dressed up and say goodbye our seniors. We enjoy a wonderful dinner, dancing, and casino gmes all at the same time! |
Mystery Date is a unique event that takes place in the fall during which sisters submit the names of three dates they would like to invite to a mystery event. Next, the social chair randomly calls one of the dates to let them know an ADPi has invited them, no one but the social chair knows who has been invited by whom. Once everyone has been invited, the sisters give a small gift to the social chair, who then distributes theses items to the dates. The most exciting part is the moment the sisters get to see who is holding their gift! Finally everyone goes off to the event! |

Fall Party is held each fall or winter and is typically a semi-formal event to which each sister invites a date. The theme of this party changes every year and is always fun! |
Fraternity Mixers are a fun way for ADPi sisters to get a change to know the fraternity men. Every semester ADPi holds a mixer with each of our five campus fraternities, and there’s always something fun going on such as volleyball, dodgeball, cookouts, food fights and more! |
Mocktail Blendoff is our annual philanthropy event held in the Fall semester open to the entire campus community. Teams of 3-5 people race against the clock to create a non alcoholic beverage for prizes. Our panel of judges taste all of the concoctions (good or bad) and pick the top three. And the student body votes provide awards for people choice, the prettiest drink, and a variety of other awards. All proceeds from this event go to the Ronald McDonald House, our national philanthropy |

Ronald McDonald House visits are a regular part of an ADPi’s semester. Sisters go on several trips per semester to RMH in their prides and diamond families. We cook, clean, and organize the houses in San Antonio and Temple. We help wherever we can to make the families stays as comfortable as possible. On Earth Day we planted flowers in the garden at the house in San Antonio and plan on singing Holiday Carols this upcoming December. |

Other Philanthropy Events occur every semester to help raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities. Be sure to watch around campus for our poptab collection boxes and news about more Adpi Philanthropy events! We also held a fashion show on campus this past year that was sponsored by local businesses such as Zinia’s boutique and Mecca Hair Salon to raise money for Hurricane Katrina Relief. The sisters of Alpha Delta Pi are truly dedicated to a variety of causes. |
