Religious Life Programs
Southwestern welcomes its increasingly diverse student body. Religious Life programs are developed by the chaplain and interested students each year to assist students in their spiritual development across the religious, cultural and theological spectrum. Some programs continue through the years, while others are added as students express new needs and interests. Students interested in helping to initiate new programs are encouraged to talk with the chaplain about them.
In addition to Religious Life sponsored programs, there are student religious organizations on campus that are organized to empower student led religious development and meet the needs of our student body. Also, area churches, synagogues and religious centers welcome students to participate. A list of some of the religious communities in the greater Georgetown area is available here.
