Destination: Service is Southwestern's Spring Break volunteer service program. Students volunteer over Spring Break to help make the world a more livable place for others. Students volunteer to build new homes, repair homes, work in the National Parks and volunteer with urban social programs and ministries, joining other volunteers in their effort.
The Destination: Service program is in its eleventh year. Last year's trips included sites in the Gila National Wilderness, Glide Memorial United Methodist Church in San Francisco, Martha O'Bryan Center in Nashville, Tennessee and Cornerstone in Nuevo Progreso, Mexico.
Applications are available at the Office of Religious Life (McCombs Campus Center 323) beginning in November to January. Loof for the BIG YELLOW POSTERS around campus and in the residence halls.
If you would like more information on this year's trips, contact the planning team members or visit the Destination Service web site.
