So, we won't be having training on the 13th-15th. We will be having anyone that shows up the week of the13th-16th work for us (we still have a lot to do and could use the help). Those of you that responded, I did submit your name to Reslife for early move in on the dates that you provided. If you are going to be an RA, helping with Frosh Theater, or moving in early for some reason other than helping ITS, I did not officially submit your name to Reslife (though I mentioned it to them). I assumed the other departments in charge of those activities had already made the arrangements for your move in (or you had done so). When you show up for early move in, you will need to go by Reslife and pick up your key.They are not open after 5pm, so let me know if we need to make arrangements for after hours pick up. Since you won't be missing any training that week, you could come down during the daytime (which will be much safer). We will be having anyone that can work the next week as well (the 18th-22nd). We will also have some RCCs work on Saturday, the 16th, for Fist Year Walk-through and tech support. We may possibly try to do the RCC training during that week (the 18th-22nd). This is the week the froshes will be having their first year classes (remember that?). Again, ITS will be paying for your food before the regular meal plan stuff starts, so you won't be out any money for food when you come work for us. So, what about next Thursday evening (August 28th)? If you could please reply back and let me know if next Thursday will work, and what times will work. I was thinking leave here at 4 or 5pm. We want to go to Austin's Park (which is actually north of Austin on the south side of Round Rock on the east side of I35). ITS will cover the entry fee (as long as you bring your student ID for the half-price discount). This includes free buffet, Laser Tag, Bumper Boats, Go-Kart Racing, Miniature Golf, Indoor and Outdoor Climbing Walls, and unlimited Video Arcade Games. I will challenge all takers to Galaxian (I don't do so well on DDR but am funny to watch) and go karts. We can car pool or meet there, whichever is most convenient for you. I know school starts next week, but before it gets really intense and busy - let's have some fun! We want to try and get everyone there. Can dates come? If you want to pay their way, sure.
