From williamd at southwestern.edu Thu Oct 4 17:50:41 2007 From: williamd at southwestern.edu (David Williamson) Date: Thu Oct 4 17:50:53 2007 Subject: [rcc] RCC Training Night Message-ID: <47056E41.5010305@southwestern.edu> Okay, I have talked to everyone (I think) about when would be the best time to meet for an hour of training. I was trying to find a time that would work best for all nine RCCs. It looks like ***Monday from 5-6pm** is the best time to meet. So, everyone plan on meeting this Monday at 5pm. We will meet upstairs in the library in rooms 202/204. These are the old Nitle/ACS labs. Meeting will only be for an hour. Wear comfortable clothes - we will be tearing apart computers and printers (and reassembling them). Please be on time because we will cover a lot of territory. Thanks, Dave From williamd at southwestern.edu Mon Oct 8 10:10:45 2007 From: williamd at southwestern.edu (David Williamson) Date: Mon Oct 8 10:10:49 2007 Subject: [rcc] sign your time sheets Message-ID: <470A4875.4010406@southwestern.edu> It is that time again. Please come by before 4pm today and: 1. check your time sheet for accuracy; 2. sign your time sheet; 3. put the blue binder back up on the wall shelf. Message-ID: <470A58C1.1010104@southwestern.edu> RCC training upstairs in the library (rooms 204 and 202 - the old Nitely/ACS labs). From 5-6pm. We will be covering both hardware and software issues, and user issues (or "issues with users"). Wear comfortable clothes to tear apart systems in. Don't worry - no hazing, practical jokes, or toxic substances involved (not tonight, anyway). See you there, David From williamd at southwestern.edu Wed Oct 10 15:18:09 2007 From: williamd at southwestern.edu (David Williamson) Date: Wed Oct 10 15:18:17 2007 Subject: [rcc] no training session on Monday, Oct. 15th Message-ID: <470D3381.2080705@southwestern.edu> Okay, I'm an idiot. I didn't realize next week is Fall Break. You have to understand, the academic schedule and the staff schedule are totally separate entities. Since we always have to work through the academic holidays, we don't pay much attention to the academic schedule. I know that some of you may have made plans to go home or somewhere dangerous and exciting during the break. Please enjoy, and forget about the training session on this Monday, October 15th. Will the next Monday (October 22nd) work for everyone? Please let me know if it will not. Also, if you are going to stay here during the break, and you are itching to earn some money, feel free to come on in and work your RCC schedule. It is not required during holidays, but is welcomed if you want to do so. Thanks, and have a good break. This is the same place we had it last time (but we will not be covering the same topics). Training upstairs in the Library (SLC 204) in the old Nitely/ACS labs. Please get there by 5pm so we can get started. We will be covering PC BIOS and Windows software issues (fascinating, isn't it). Please come by and sign your time sheets before 4 pm today. In the usual place - blue binder on the wall across from the printer in our ITS department. Verify your time sheet for accuracy. Check for any errors before signing.
