Welcome to the 2008 Southwestern University New Student and Transfer Student Orientation web site. We're working hard to make sure that Orientation will provide you a successful transition to the Southwestern community. We know that this can be a stressful time and hope to make it as easy as possible for you. We have lots of activities, programs, and events to help you meet fellow students, faculty, and staff members of the SU community. Please plan to attend all Orientation events to facilitate that process.

This site includes the schedule for New Student and Transfer Student Orientation. The links to the left will also direct you to helpful information about the Student Affairs staff, Residence Life, Student Activities, and dining and retail options in and around Georgetown. You will also receive a packet of information via the mail around August 1. This packet will contain your Orientation Guide (detailed schedule and additional information about the SU community), advisor information, and all the additional information you will need to prepare for your arrival at Southwestern University.
