    The House features the dynamic duo of Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler…  When Scott and Kate Johansen’s daughter gets into the college of her dreams it’s cause for celebration. That is, until Scott and Kate (Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler) learn that the scholarship they were counting on didn’t come through, and they’re now on the hook for tuition they can’t begin to afford.

    This panel will​ take a deeper look at hazing from a variety of areas in collegiate life. We will be discussing the causes of hazing, the consequences of hazing, and how we can stop hazing.  Panelists include: Dee Hobbs, Williamson County Attorney; Tim Jackson, General Manager of the Round Rock Express & former NCAA Division 1 athlete; & more.

    To celebrate National Hazing Prevention Week, our Greek organizations are uniting against hazing and participating in a chili cookoff.  Come out to the Academic Mall and enjoy some chili made by each of our Greek organizations. There will be a crowd vote, so make sure you vote for your favorite.

    In February of 2017, Penn State sophomore Timothy Piazza passed away due to a hazing related incident.  This case resulted in one of the largest hazing prosecutions in our nation’s history. We will take a look at this case and discuss what could have been done by individuals, the organization, and the university that could have helped avoid this tragedy.
