If you are an SU community member that hasn’t registered for a SIRA fitness class in 2017,
then you and a friend can register two4one (half-price each)!
The Summer I session of classes listed below will start the week of May 8th and continue through the end of June which is 8 weeks of classes for only $2.50/class! Please click and download the pdf documents for more information (e.g. specific class dates, fees, and instructors).

Cardio Sculpt will use a variety of different class formats to provide both strength training and a cardiovascular workout each day. This new, team taught class will regularly incorporate circuit training, interval work, as well as the use of weights and bands to keep things new and challenging for participants. This fun, fast-paced class does not require previous experience with group fitness workouts just a willingness to try something new in a friendly and supportive environment.
Class meets in the CJR Aerobics Room on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:00-12:50pm

Nurture and energize the entire self through the fusion of dynamic poses, breath work and deep relaxation. The practice of yoga encourages greater flexibility, strength, balance, self-awareness and tranquility. Participants of all levels are welcome to attend. Feel free to bring your own mat, if you wish, or use a mat provided by SIRA.
Invigorating Hatha Flow (Monday/Wednesday at 5:15pm) - A dynamic style of yoga linking breath and movement to improve self-awareness, flexibility, strength and balance. This class is ideal for intermediate to advanced students of yoga looking to refine and deepen their practice and for beginners with an athletic background. This class incorporates Sun Salutation between transitions, core work, balances, and inversions. Modifications are offered to benefit each individual.
All SIRA yoga classes meet on Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:15pm in the CJR Aerobics Room.
