The Southwestern University Equestrian Club's mission is to provide students who are interested in horses with the opportunity to further their horsmanship and sportsmanship through participation in activities such as community service, recreational riding, and competition riding. Equestrian Club members participate in competitions sponsored by the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) and train weekly at a privately owned facility in Georgetown, which is very close to the SU campus.
