helps you search for foundations by name and provides direct links to many foundations, corporations and charities. The free version has some basic information about the agency in question and a link to its most recent 990 tax forms. The site also has grant writing information and tutorials.

is another good site for getting tax information. After free registration you can view the 990 tax forms of all foundations. Useful information on these forms includes the names of the foundation’s trustees and a listing of all grants the foundation made in the year in question - to whom, for what, and how much.
