Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc.

“Leading with Integrity, United through Service.”

Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc. is national social sorority that focuses on serving under-represented communities with a special emphasis on the Latino population. KDChi was founded at Texas Tech University in 1987 by four young women who were interested in fostering a sisterhood based in the values of integrity, unity, honesty and leadership. Nationally, the sisterhood has bloomed into over 40 chapters, with undergraduate and alumni sisters serving their communities in every part of the country.

The Alpha Tau chapter of Kappa Delta Chi at Southwestern University was charted in the Spring of 2010 by eleven women. As the first culturally based Greek organization on the campus, KDChi has been working hard to serve the community while fostering a strong sisterhood heavily focused on outstanding academics. During their first year as a chapter KDChi Alpha Tau was awarded the highest chapter GPA at the Kappa Delta Chi National Conference. Though these penguins work hard, they still make time to enjoy the company of their sisters.
