Opportunities This Week

  • Group Volunteering with Bastrop Fire Recovery: Over 1700 structures were destroyed in the terrible wildfires of September and October of 2011. The Bastrop Volunteer Reception Center (VRC) is looking for groups to come and volunteer at Bastrop for an Alternative Spring Break or other day(s) of volunteering. For more information or to volunteer, groups can contact bastropvolunteer2011@gmail.com.

  • Youth Support & Juvenile Justice with the Neighborhood Conference Committee: The Neighborhood Conference Committee (NCC) of Williamson County seeks volunteers to work with first-time truancy offenders and their families. The student meets with NCC volunteers after being referred to the program by their school district to create a plan and set goals to achieve positive academic standing (attendance, grades, etc.).
