Modern Language Association’s Guide to Doctoral Programs in English and Other Modern Languages
Includes a full range of data on doctoral programs in over 300 departments of English and other modern languages, as well as many interdisciplinary and comparative departments. The data are accessible through the Guide’s search functions. Included are data on admissions, program requirements, concentrations, tuition, financial aid, assistantships, health insurance, and job placement. Participation in the Guide is voluntary, and a department’s presence or absence in the Guide implies no judgment on the MLA’s part.

Testmasters
Testmasters is one of the fastest-growing test preparation companies in the country. They offer classroom courses, online courses, and private 1-on-1 courses for a variety of exams including the GRE, GMAT, and LSAT. Recently they made our online grading resources free to the public. Students can take publicly available exams, submit their responses for online grading, and receive feedback along with a professionally printed score report at no charge. The website also offers free essay grading. Previously such access would have required students to enroll in a professional test prep course costing hundreds of dollars.
