RICHARD EASON '73 APPOINTED VICE PRESIDENT FOR RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT AT UT-AUSTIN

Richard B. Eason '73, senior consultant, managing director and corporate secretary at Marts & Lundy, Inc., has been appointed vice president for resource development at The University of Texas at Austin.
Prior to joining Marts & Lundy, a national fund-raising consulting firm, in 2000, Eason served Southwestern University for more than 30 years as a student, an alumnus, and an administrator.
After graduating from Southwestern in 1973, with a degree in psychology, Eason stayed on as an admission counselor for four years. He returned in 1980 as director then vice president for development.
He was named a Distinguished Alumnus at Southwestern in 2000 and inducted into the Council for Advancement and Support of Education District IV Hall of Fame in 2001.
Eason and his wife, Patty Schilling Eason '84 live in Georgetown.
