Welcome to the scimath list. This list is set up to promote dialogue among elementary science and math methods instructors. The purpose has three primary foci. 1. To support science educators and others without a math education degree who are teaching math methods 2. To support math educators and others without a science education degree who are teaching science methods 3. To support the integration, articulation, and/or coordination of elementary science and math methods courses. This may include documentation and research about such efforts. Anyone who is interested in discussing any of the three foci stated above is welcome to join the list. Please introduce yourself to the list shortly after joining. Using scimath
To post a message to all the list members, send email to scimath@southwestern.edu. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to scimath
Subscribe to scimath by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
