Local Associations Update

The Association of Southwestern University Alumni envisions that the Southwestern Experience can continue for alumni no matter where they live. Therefore, the ASUA supports alumni who want to organize local associations for the purpose of connecting Southwestern alumni with one another and the University. Since 2004, local associations have formed in Dallas, Houston and Washington, D.C. Each local association sponsors between two and four events a year. Keep up-to-date on the upcoming events that these groups are planning, view photos from past events and find officer contact information by visiting www.sugrads.org and clicking on Local Associations.

Alumni interested in starting a local association in their area are invited to attend the Volunteer Leadership Weekend, Jan. 19-20, 2007, at Southwestern University. This is a great opportunity to network with other alumni, learn from other local association officers and receive training. For more information or to register, contact the Office of Alumni Relations at alumni@southwestern.edu or 1-800-960-6363.
