Dear Southwestern University Alumni,
As I have traveled around the United States meeting Southwestern alumni, Ive met successful entrepreneurs, devoted public servants, innovative educators, engaged community leaders, inspired artistsall, in their own ways, contributing to the well-being of humanity. Consistently, Ive found that among their many cares in life, Southwestern alumni have a deep love for their alma mater. Many wished that Southwestern was still a vital part of their lives.
Because of exciting enhancements within the Association of Southwestern University Alumni (ASUA), the University can play a meaningful role in the lives of alumni once again. The primary aim of the ASUA is to create more opportunities for alumni to be meaningfully engaged with one another and their alma mater. During Homecoming and Reunion Weekend, we hosted an Alumni Hospitality House to make it easy for alumni to meet up and visit with one another. This is just an example of our efforts to help alumni see and feel the difference.
Today, the ASUA is ready to provide you with numerous ways to connect with other alumni and become involved. We are committed to helping you connect through the time in which you attended Southwestern, the places in which you live, work and socialize, and the interests that are important to you. Weve already begun many new programs. With your help and ideas, well begin many more. In the coming years, we want you to view your Southwestern Experience as lifelong.
All the best,
