The Spanish Department is hosting a film festival Sept. 4 - Oct. 9 that will feature six films from Spain and the Americas.

The films will be shown Thursday evenings at 7 p.m. in Room 105 of the F.W. Olin Building beginning Sept. 4. The films and the dates on which they will be shown are as follows:

Sept. 4:Aquí y allá”/“Here and There” (2012, Mexico, Spain, USA)

Sept. 11:También la lluvia”/“Even the Rain” (2011, Spain, Mexico) 

Sept. 18:Eternal Amazon” (2013,Brazil)

Sept. 25:Viajo porque preciso, volto porque te amo”/“I Travel Because I Have To, I Come Back Because I Love You” (2011, Brazil)

Oct. 2:Amerikanuak” (2011, Spain)

Oct. 9:Yvy Maraey, Tierra sin mal”/“Yvy Maraey, Land Without Evil” (2014, Bolivia)

The films are free and open to the public.
