“For me personally, Chinese was something completely unique from anything I had come in contact with before. Now, with the rapid emergence of China as an economic powerhouse, the professional rewards of studying Chinese are broadening exponentially. Because of my language and international experience, I developed a love for Asian cultures, which has led me to my current position on the JET Program teaching English as a second language in Japan.” Currently Amy is finishing her MBA at National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan.
