Admission Communication Coordinator

Southwestern University invites applications for the position of Admission Communication Coordinator. This position involves conceptualizing, designing and developing/producing various forms of admission-related communication. This is a full-time, 12-month position with benefits which reports to the Director of Admission Communication within the Enrollment Services department.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: work and collaborate with the Admission Communication team; conceptualize, design and produce a variety of communications including web and print; assist with communication planning; coordinate project specific photography; staff for admission-related events; work with various third-party resources, including designers, developers, photographers, videographers and vendors and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include, but are not limited to: Bachelor’s degree in design, communication, or related field; one year of experience in a related field; thorough understanding of design elements and principles, including typography; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Dreamweaver (HTML and CSS); demonstrated leadership skills; strong work ethic; understanding and commitment to a liberal arts education, including the ability to relate to a liberal arts faculty; possess excellent interaction and communication skills (verbal and written); have knowledge, understanding, and acceptance of cultural differences and the diversity within the campus and community.
