Lee Epstein, a nationally recognized legal scholar, will give a public lecture at Southwestern University on Thursday, Sept. 19, as part of the Phi Beta Kappa Visiting Scholar Program.

Epstein will give a lecture titled “The Supreme Court of the United States: Past, Present and Future” at 5 p.m. in Room 110 of the F.W. Olin Building.

Epstein holds faculty positions in both the USC Gould School of Law the USC Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. She has authored or coauthored more than 100 articles and essays, as well as 14 books, including The Choices Justices Make, Constitutional Law for a Changing America, The Supreme Court Compendium, Advice and Consent: The Politics of Judicial Appointments, and her most recent book, The Behavior of Federal Judges. She is coeditor of the Journal of Law, Economics, & Organization.
