American novelist and short story writer T.C. Boyle to visit in November

T.C. Boyle will be the library’s fourteenth guest in the popular annual Writer’s Voice Series. His work explores varied themes, settings, and subjects, ranging from environmental and ecological dilemmas in California’s Channel Islands to Frank Lloyd Wright’s personal life to immigration to identity theft to Alfred Kinsey…and beyond.

While he is on campus, Boyle will visit two classes and attend a student lunch, and at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12 in the Alma Thomas Theater, he will give a public talk and book signing. Watch Campus Notices and our Writer’s Voice website for ticket information later in the semester.

There are many scholarly articles about Boyle’s work in the library’s databases and print resources; for links to books and articles by and about Boyle, visit

The library has copies of Boyle’s books on display in the first floor Lynne Brody Writer’s Voice Alcove. Stop by and take a look!
