SU students need your support to present at national and regional conferences.
Goal: $1,000
Amount Achieved: $275
Completion Date: December 31

We want to make sure that every SU student who is interested in presenting their scholarly work is able to do so. Your support is crucial in making that happen.

Dr. Reginald Byron summarized it well in saying, “Undergraduate research and conference presentations are essential to helping young scholars understand that what we do has implications beyond the classroom. These experiences also provide an unparalleled opportunity to network and gain professional skills.”

For example, in the past five years Southwestern students from the sciences and social sciences have made 395 presentations of their original scholarly work at regional and national conferences. Additionally, students in the fine arts exhibited and performed their works in external venues 51 times.

Please support these students today.
