Southwestern University has an immediate opening for a skilled residential and commercial HVAC Mechanic.  This is a full time position with benefits.  Responsibilities include the maintenance and repair of residential kitchen equipment, ice machines and the cooling/heating systems and equipment for the campus.  This position will also assist other crafts when needed.  Requirements:  High school diploma or GED with a minimum of three years experience in HVAC, refrigeration, and appliance repair is required (five years exp. preferred).  An associate’s degree in air conditioning and refrigeration, or a State Air  Conditioning and Refrigeration Contractors license is preferred, EPA Certification, and a valid Texas driver’s license are required.  Candidate must be dependable, self motivated, and have the ability to work independently without direct supervision.  Regular hours are scheduled for Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., however, occasional evening hours may be required.
