Rachel Wallis works as the Director of International Protocol Services for the City of Dallas and the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth, which includes hosting international delegations on behalf of the city and promoting Dallas to the international community. Most recently, she worked as Program Officer at Meridian International Center in Washington, DC, implementing the State Department’s International Visitor Leadership program. She graduated in 2002 from Southwestern with dual majors of Political Science and French, and went on to receive an M.A. in Contemporary European Studies from the University of Bath, UK in 2003. Rachel participated in the London Semester program and a French summer program through the Sorbonne while at Southwestern, and spent some of her graduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Institute d’Études Politiques (Sciences-Po) in Paris. She is fluent in French and has a working knowledge of Spanish.
