Admission & Recruitment Coordinator (3 positions)

Southwestern University invites applications for two Admission and Recruitment Coordinator positions. Reporting to the Director of Admission, the Admission and Recruitment Coordinator will represent Southwestern University to students and families via electronic, telephone and written forms of communication in addition to college night presentations, information sessions and personal interviews. Responsibilities include territory management, application review and evaluation, preparing annual goals, objectives, benchmarks and action plans. The work typically encompasses a traditional work day, but nights, weekend and business-related travel are common. In addition to the responsibilities listed above, the position will also include administrative responsibilities, to be determined by the Vice President and senior members of the admission staff based upon the candidate’s strengths and the needs of the organization.
Minimum qualifications include: a bachelor’s degree, preferably in the liberal arts from a similar type of institution; excellent written and oral communication skills including an affable nature; ability to appreciate and articulate the benefits of a national, residential, liberal arts and sciences college with high academic standards; . A driver’s license and lifting boxes over 25 lbs are also required.
