Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach

Southwestern University seeks candidates for the position of Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach. A master’s degree is preferred, but not required. Evidence of successful head coaching experience and previous administrative experience with an endorsement of the NCAA Division III philosophy is required. Additional duties will include teaching Fitness and Recreational Activities classes and/or Exercise & Sport Studies Program, and other tasks as assigned by the Director of Athletics. The start date is July 1, 2012 and is a 12-month appointment with benefits; salary is commensurate with experience.
Southwestern University will add women’s lacrosse as a varsity sport in the 2013-14 academic year and seeks a dynamic individual capable of building a new program. The coach will be responsible for recruiting qualified student-athletes, integrating the new program into campus life, ordering equipment, assist in the development of facilities, etc.
