Lindsey works with Peace Corps as an English teacher in Namibia.
After graduating in 2010, Lindsey joined the United States Peace Corps to serve as an English teacher in Namibia for two years. She lives and works in the village of Iilyateko, in the northern region of Omusati near the Angolan-Namibian border. Her school enrolls about 450 children from 9 villages and she has had the opportunity to work with most of them whether it be in the classroom teaching English, Basic Information Science, Life Skills, P.E. or Arts or around the village. When she is not in the classroom teaching she assists in running the school library, the science club, and a soon to be school cinema.
