Through a grant from the Verizon Foundation, the Office of Civic Engagement seeks outstanding students to work 30 hours per week for 10 weeks this summer (May 24 - July 30) for a local agency committed to addressing the epidemic of domestic and family violence.  Students will recieve an hourly wage and campus housing. 

Criteria: This selective program invites applicants that demonstrate a high level of understanding and sensitivity around this systemic issue of violence, have experience and feel comfortable working with diverse populations, wish to deepen their understanding of the root causes and consequences of violence, and are interested in the operations of social service agencies.
