Southwestern University will host a Job and Internship Fair focusing on the non-traditional student population on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the McCombs Campus Center.
The fair is hosted by the Southwestern University Veterans Association and Transfer Non-traditional Student Society in conjunction with SU Career Services. An anticipated 40 to 50 employers and hundreds of students are expected to attend. While the job fair will have a particular focus on the non-traditional student population (student veterans, transfer students, working students, etc.), it is open to all students and job seekers.
“This is a great time to find that summer internship for students who have not completed their degree or for finding that first job for recent graduates,” says Arun Jacob, Financial Aid Counselor at Southwestern. “The best part about this job fair is that it is free to job seekers and employers.”
