Stephen Higdon graduated from Southwestern University in 2009 with a major Political Science and a minor in Economics. Stephen continued his education at the Texas Tech University School of Law, where he was the Online Edition Editor for the Texas Tech Law Review and a member of several national advocacy teams—including a the semi-finalist team at the 2013 National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition (the largest single-stage moot court competition in the country).

 

In 2013, Stephen graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Texas Tech University School of Law as a member of the Order of the Coif and began serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Michael H. Schneider, United States Judge for the Eastern District of Texas. Stephen relies heavily on his liberal arts education in order to effectively work on a docket that includes  wide variety of complex civil and criminal matters.

 

Stephen lives in East Texas with his beautiful wife, Meggie Orgain (Class of 2009), who is also an attorney.
