Southwestern University is pleased to present the Conductor’s Institute featuring clinicians Kenny Sheppard and Brad Bouley.
The Conductor’s Institute of Southwestern University June 25 - June 28, 2017.
Come spend four days in beautiful Georgetown Texas in the heart of the hill country as you study and conduct the Requiem by W. A. Mozart. Feel the encouragement and remarkable growth as a conductor under the guidance of clinicians Dr. Kenny Sheppard and Brad Bouley.
Dr. Kenny Sheppard was awarded the Texas Choral Directors Association’s top honor at their July 2016 meeting attended by over 1500 choral conductors. Brad Bouley is the Artistic Director and Founder of The Texas Master Chorale.
A chorus and orchestra (19 pieces) will be in residence for your rehearsals. A public performance of the work will be presented on June 28, on the last evening of the institute.
Space is limited to 15 conductors. Deadline is May 1, 2017. Please contact Kenny Sheppard to reserve your spot.
Participant fee for the institute: $475
