Premering in 1895 in London, the play revolves around two young gentlemen, Jack and Algeron, who are sick of their piling obligations. So much so that they decide to create alter egos to escape their dreary Victorian lives and find love. Add in the picturesque Gwendolyn and Jack’s ward Cecily and things go awry when all of these hilarious characters end up in the country together.
