Religion Database with ATLASerials
Database created by the American Theological Library
Association, includes more than one million bibliographic
records covering such topics as biblical studies,
world religions, church history, and religious perspectives
on social issues.
Arts & Humanities
Search
Indexes more than 1,300 of the world's leading arts
and humanities journals.
ARTstor
The ARTstor image database is a searchable collection of downloadable
high quality digital images for education and scholarship. The
database documents artistic and historical traditions across
many time periods and cultures. ARTstor is designed for researchers,
teachers and students. Users can download individual images
or use the ARTstor Offline Image Viewer to build a presentation
using ARTstor images, arrange and caption the images, and deliver

The
Philosopher's Index
Covers the areas of ethics, aesthetics, social philosophy,
political philosophy, epistemology, and metaphysic
logic as well as material on the philosophy of law,
religion, science, history, education, and language.
JSTOR:
Journal Storage Collection Online
Access to the complete back files of almost 100 full-text
scholarly journals with a heavy emphasis on the humanities
and social sciences.
Women's
Studies International
Includes over 200,000 citations from 10 different
women's studies-related databases. Search here if

Encyclopedia of the American Religious
Experience

The geographic focus of this three volume work is
the North American continent, primarily, although
not exclusively, the United States. The encyclopedia
contains topical essays on many different aspects
of religion
in America.
Encyclopedic Handbook of Cults
in America
REFERENCE, 1st floor 291.0973 M495en 1992
Published in 1992, this compact single volume work
provides an unbiased account of the history, beliefs,
practices, organization and membership statistics
of contemporary alternative and nonconventional religious
movements. Each essay is followed by a useful bibliography.
Encyclopaedia Judaica
REFERENCE, 1st floor 296.03 En19
A sixteen volume set that represents the culmination
of years of intensive work by scholars from many
parts of the world and provides a comprehensive picture
of all aspects of Jewish life and knowledge, published
in 1972. Supplemented by a Decennial book published
in 1996.
Encyclopaedia of Islam

New Interpreter's Bible

by Dr. Andrew Wilson, World Scripture organizes passages

Excellent search engine allows you to search passages
in scripture by keyword. Can specify which of multiple
translations of the Bible you wish to search.

A very comprehensive and frequently updated site,
designed and maintained by academics to serve the
Buddhist studies researcher. The editors have evaluated
all the listed sites for quality. Includes a site

Hindu Universe
Website for Global Hindu Electronic Networks, a project
of the Hindu Students Council. Very comprehensive
site.

A useful site focused on Islamic resources. Updated
