collection, that are particularly useful for the
study of Psychology.

PsycARTICLES
(via EBSCOhost)
Full-text access to peer-reviewed articles from more than
60 journals in psychology, including journals published by
the American Psychological Association. PsycINFO
(via EBSCOhost)
Produced by the American Psychological Association, contains
citations and summaries of journal articles, book chapters,
books, dissertations and reports published internationally
in the field of psychology. A detailed search guide for PsycINFO
is available from APA. Some selected full-text.
Social Sciences Citation Index (via ISI Web of Science)
The Social Sciences Citation Index provides access to current
and retrospective bibliographic information, author abstracts,
and cited references found in over 1,700 of the world's leading
scholarly social sciences journals covering more than 50 disciplines.
It also covers individually selected, relevant items from
approximately 3,300 of the world's leading science and technology
journals.

scholarly, multi-disciplinary full-text database, with full-text
periodicals, including peer-reviewed journals.
Child
Abuse, Child Welfare & Adoption Database (via BiblioLine)
- Provides a bibliographic resource on the maltreatment of
children, safety, permanency and well-being of children.
ERIC:
Education Resources Information Center (via EBSCOhost)
- ERIC is the primary database for identifying journal articles
and other materials on education research and practice, including
topics in educational psychology.
Note: EBSCOhost is a multidisciplinary resource
that includes numerous databases which may be useful for psychology
research, including PsycINFO, ERIC, Academic Search Premier,
Psychology & Behavioral Sciences Collection, MEDLINE,
and others. These databases may be searched simultaneously
or individually.
MEDLINE
(via EBSCOhost) - Produced by the National Library
of Medicine, MEDLINE database is widely recognized as the
premier source for bibliographic and abstract coverage of
biomedical literature. Categories covered include psychology
and psychiatry.
The
Psychology & Behavioral Sciences Collection (via EBSCOhost)
- Full-text articles covering topics in emotional and behavioral
characteristics, psychiatry & psychology, mental processes,
anthropology, and observational and experimental methods.
All full-text publications included in this database are indexed
in PsycINFO.
ScienceDirect
(via Elsevier) - Provides access to the full-
text of more than 1,400 journals published by Elsevier and
its subsidiaries and other publishers whose online journals
are hosted by ScienceDirect. The Library has access to issues
marked with a green icon.
Social
Sciences Abstracts (via FirstSearch) Social Sciences Abstracts indexes
and abstracts over 620 publications on a wide range of interdisciplinary
fields such as anthropology, gender studies, gerontology,
psychology and more.

DOAJ:
Directory of Open Access Journals (in Psychology)
- Covers free, full-text, quality controlled scientific
and scholarly journals. Aims to cover all subjects (including
psychology) and includes many foreign language titles.
IngentaConnect--The
online index covers over 29,000 periodicals. Search by author
name, or search by keywords in the titles of the articles
and abstracts. No articles available online because we are
not current subscribers to the service. Nevertheless, its
value is the wide range of periodicals it covers. To determine
if the Library has access electronically to a particular journal,
browse the list of online
journal titles, or search the Voyager
Catalog to determine if the Library owns a print copy
of the journal. If the journal title is not available in either
print or electronic format, you can request a copy of the
article through Interlibrary Loan.
