collection, that are particularly useful for the
study of Philosophy.

The
Philosopher's Index
Covers the areas of ethics, aesthetics, social philosophy,
political philosophy, epistemology, and metaphysic
logic as well as material on the philosophy of law,
religion, science, history, education, and language.
ARTstor
The ARTstor image database is a searchable collection of downloadable
high quality digital images for education and scholarship. The
database documents artistic and historical traditions across
many time periods and cultures. ARTstor is designed for researchers,
teachers and students. Users can download individual images
or use the ARTstor Offline Image Viewer to build a presentation
using ARTstor images, arrange and caption the images, and deliver

Religion Database with ATLASerials
Database from the American Theological Library Association,
includes more than one million bibliographic records
covering such topics as biblical studies, world religions,
church history, and religious perspectives on social
issues.
Arts & Humanities
Search
Indexes more than 1,300 of the word's leading arts
and humanities journals.
JSTOR:
Journal Storage Collection Online
Access to the complete back files of almost 100 full-text
scholarly journals with a heavy emphasis on the humanities
and social sciences.
Project
MUSE
Provides full image journal articles in the humanities
and social sciences.
Women's
Studies International
Includes over 200,000 citations from 10 different
women's studies-related databases. Search here if
you are focusing on women and philosophy.

Stanford
encyclopedia of philosophy
A work in progress - many of the assigned entries
have not yet been written - designed as a dynamic
reference work, i.e., each entry is maintained and
kept up to date by an expert or group of experts
in the field. Updates are refereed by the members
of a distinguished Editorial Board before they are
made public. Consequently, it is responsive to new
research, for it can change at any time with new
additions or modifications.

Internet encyclopedia of philosophy
Articles in the Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy
are currently from three sources: original contributions
by specialized philosophers around the internet,
adaptations of material written by the editors for
classroom purposes, and adaptations from public domain
sources (typically from two or more sources for per
article).

WCP: paideia project on-line
The most outstanding feature of this site is an archive
of papers from the 1998 Twentieth World Congress
of Philosophy. Over 900 full text papers are available.
Ethics
Updates

and their students. The site's purpose is to provide

that relates to ethics.
